Keeps Me Smiling on the Outside, While Crying on the Inside

Teeth seem to be dropping in my house like flies. Miss J. looks so funny different without her trademark smile. She wiggled that tooth until I was able to wiggle it completely out and tuck it away in a safe place to await the tooth fairy mommy to get a little extra cash.

I don't think she minds the new space since she could see the new tooth as soon as the old one came out.

I thought about getting her Kindergarten pictures retaken this Friday when the company comes back for round two. The original set has some shadowing that I am not too crazy about, and if we do, these pictures will mark this milestone in her little life. Even though I can put a whole finger in that space, I think she is still picture perfect.

Toothless in Albany

It came out yesterday during the Good Morning song, or so I was told on the walk home from school. I will have to remind myself to collect the little jewel from her teacher on Monday, as I was also told that it would be available upon our next arrival to school. The two day wait shouldn't be so bad since Miss J. didn't even remember loosing the tooth, only remembered that her month was bleeding. I had to start in with the 50 questions to make sure that at least one of us knew where the thing was. I am not the best tooth keeper. I somehow lost her first two baby teeth... its a good thing she had some replacements!

[edit: It turns out that there is NO tooth. I decided to ask the teacher today for the tooth and she was completely out of the loop. She had no idea that Miss J. had even lost a tooth. I guess the tooth fairy will remain rich until she loses the two top teeth that are schedule to come out next.]
