Could It Be Time For School Shopping?

As I followed Miss J. up the pathway to her classroom this morning I started having flashbacks of Michael Jackson's Billie Jean video. The black shoes, the white socks, the skinny little legs...

The 5T's are clearly no longer our friend. I used to be on top of her height, but now it seems like she grows an inch a week. I would NEVER EVER let my kid leave the house looking like The Incredible Hulk, well, under normal circumstances, but I guess I can pretend that her pants still touch the tops of her shoes for at least one more week.

I love those photos! Isn't it funny how kids do that. One minute the 5ts are falling off and the next minute you've got the Michael Jackson look.

Guess your daughter is growing faster than you thought! I am so glad that you stopped by my blog because your space here is so amazing! The look of your blog is truly unique. I am adding you to my blogroll so that I can check in with you often.

Just call it a "fashion statement" and call it a day.

That's funny! That does remind me of MJ and "Billie Jean." I never would have thought "Billie Jean" until you said that. All she needs to make it complete is the changing floor tiles like in the video.

wow I've never seen this design before-looks awesome! Anyway, I don't think the pants ain't that bad. Capri is still in style, so hers can be counted as one! :) You can put like ruffles at the hem or ribbon and voila! new pants!

I remember one spring when my 17 yr old was in 8th grade...he grew twice in like a 5 month period. Significantly enough that he needed new pants. He hadn't even broken in the previous pairs!

Thankfully he's slowed down and hasn't "needed" a new pair for over a year. :-)
