A Small Light at the End of the Tunnel

Featured today...

Weeks ago, I was contacted by Tabitha of From Single to Married, a newlywed who is hoping to become a mommy soon.  Like many other women looking to be bitten by the baby bug, Tabitha sought out the stories of other mommies.  Stories of pregnancy, birthing, parenting, and of course, above all else, how to get the bun in the oven, since she is now at this stage in the game. She took these stories and created a space for experience: Experiencing Motherhood.  Here, women share their stories about the joy, pain, humor, complication, and everything else that is pregnancy, birthing, adoption, parenting, and the experience of motherhood.

Today, the story of Miss J's birth is featured.  I tell the tale of birthing a breech baby by c-section, and all the fun that led up to that moment... and of course all the fun that followed.  Be sure to head on over and check it out.  If you would like to tell your motherhood stories and give Tabitha some advice in the process, don't be shy, just let her know.

If my time in the spot light has come and gone, and you still wanna read, then you can click here.

And please don't forget to read about our little friend Zachary Michael Cruz below... and see if you can lend your support.

What a beautiful baby!

I love that photo. I wish I had one. I am off to check out the story.

stories of childbirth always intrigue me! thanks for sharing.

regarding cysts...i know a few people who've had them and also were unaware. i thought i had one last summer, and actually still haven't received my results! (long story)

from what i understand from my reading, they're (at least some) are a build up of toxins in the body. the body won't allow the toxins to just flow through the body, so it gathers it all up and has to store it somewhere. since there's a good amount of space down in the uterus area, the body sends it all there. over time it builds and builds, and comes to be known as cycts. one book refers to them as trash bags. the intelligence of our systems is so amazing!

sorry. i read all this stuff and have to share it with *somebody*. lol!

What a cute picture and congrats on your feature!!

That's a very beautiful portrait. On my way to check your story.

Just had to say that I started following your blog. Your daughter is beautiful. I'm kind of in the same boat as you so I'd love some advice :-)
