2009 Goal #1: Love Myself More/ Make Myself a Priority

How many times did I utter this phrase in 2008? How many times did I actually practice this in 2008? Let's see, I bet I can count the number of times on one hand. I was suppose to reposition myself and redirect my lifestyle in 2008. But, between devoting my time to school, Miss J and my countless worries, there is next to no time left in a day to take care of Ms. Bar B. Now that's just sad. Not making myself a priority is no longer acceptable. Its one thing to have to sacrifice for the greater good, but there comes a time when too much self-sacrifice gets to be a bit unhealthy. Well, I'm ready to do some maintenance. Ready to flip the "out of order" over to "newly renovated". Put some pep in my step and some wind up my nose. Confidence and motivation is beckoning me. Um hum, I got a little "I am the shit-ness" in my system and I think I am finally ready to start living up to my full potential.

With that said, I have taken flight. Destination? Healing.
