Friday Fill-Ins

Thoughts and prayers go out to Janet, who's father passed away.

1. The world is much smaller than we think.

2. "I love you" was the last thing I said.

3. I wonder if I will ever be able to truly let the past be the past.

4. There is a lesson to be learned at the end of all things.

5. There's something to be said for people who self sacrifice.

6. Tucked away under the covers, on an island is where I want to be.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to finishing up the third book in the Trisha R. Thomas, Nappily series (I'll tell you more about these books after I've finished it), tomorrow my plans include paying some bills and Sunday, I want to get Miss J ready to go back to school!

Who's Janet? So sorry for her loss--it's never easy. Please let her know she's in our prayers.

I read about Janet's dad on her other blog; so sorry for her loss.

Is the past ever really the past? Remember my post about apologies...the past is SO much a part of who we are in the now that letting go of it is more of a disservice to you than those who will you to forget. Don't let go of it, but loosen the hold so that you may continue on. (Hugs)

Tucked away under the covers on an island sounds very nice. And I hope it's very warm there during the day. Warm enough to hang out at the beach all day.
