Rememberance

Taking a moment to cherish the memories of birthday celebrations long past. A few years can seem like an eternity to those who were left behind. We who once loved and still love you. Missing the laughter, the home cooked meals, the daily conversations, the soap opera viewings, the warm home and everything that was you. Robbed of hugs and kisses, especially on that last day, when I kissed you and you didn't kiss back.

Today, I still celebrate you and the 85 years that you should have had... until we meet again.

I love you mama.

so sweet and inspiring thoughts and words. She'll always be alive in your heart - ok I'm choking back tears...

Thanks for keeping her spirit alive. Happy Belated Birthday to your mama.

10/23...this same exact day last year is the day I lost my best friend, my hero, my absolute everything...my daddy. I like what you did to remember your grandmother.
