Who knew that a vacation was in my immediate future... and one without baby!
My friend Gina and I are enjoying the beautiful sites and weather of Southern California. Our final destination is San Diego where we are spending time with a good friend of Gina's, but we made a stop in Los Angeles to visit one of the Cal mommies that recently made the move to embark on her journey through grad school at USC. It was great having the opportunity to spend a day with her and her family, while enjoying sun and fun at the beach. Did I mention that this was a road trip? And that we only got lost twice? The drive wasn't too bad, but it was still a drive. We'll be hitting the road heading back to NorCal some time tomorrow, but not before taking in more adventure.
I will fill you in about the trip when I get back to my own computer. This tale can not be told without the proper visuals! If you're familiar with the San Diego area, feel free to suggest any breathtaking places or fun things to do while here. We already have Balboa Park and a couple of beaches left on the itinerary.
