So... Now They Wanna Take Her Kids?

Larry Seidlin, the loony ass judge that presided over the Anna Nicole Smith trial, thinks that we need to "save the state" from Nadya Suleman.  Interesting.

Attorney Gloria Aldridge speaks of possible legal action being taken against Nadya if she refuses the assistance of nurses from an NGO called Angels in Waiting, when the babies come home.  Interesting.

Is there any way to turn this whole thing off?  I am sick to DEATH of hearing about this shit. JESUS H. CHRIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Why can't I just get the weather or the local news when I turn on the tv?  Why I gotta hear about how much everyone seems to hate her every second of the god damned day???  Can someone please tell me that?  Or better yet, can someone please inform the media that there are much more important issues in the world to be "reporting" on? Every time this lady farts, a reporter is not only there to smell it, but also to do a full report on its length and pitch.  This shit is becoming just as bad as reality tv culture... which is a totally different post for a totally different day/early morning after I've had a full night's sleep.

Yeah, I'm tired of hearing about her as well. It's as if there's nothing else going on in the world. I want to turn on the news to see what Pres. Obama's been up to lately, and all I hear is, "Well, the Nadya is eating now. She burped. She's going to go to the bathroom now...." It's annoying. I don't find this story interesting enough to merit its discussion any further. I'm done.

I was just complaining about this yesterday to my husband/TV watching partner... each report is more venomous than the last, almost like we should all applaud and yell and scream and raise our pitchforks and lanterns until she and her kids starve to death. I mean, I think what she did was foul, but the fact of the matter is that the kids are here now, and 24-hour discussion of her business/movements won't undo what she's done. I'm praying for her and all those kids. That's what she needs. Not this constant, unhelpful attention.

Exactly!

I just need clarification that we DO actually have a civilized society, because it sure doesn't feel like it most of the time. The coverage and commentary about this woman and her children is much like the coverage and commentary that descended on Britney Spears. I can't imagine being hounded every milisecond. I was sure the cameras would have been rolling when Britney put the gun to her head, much the same way the were rolled over Heath Ledger for the last time, but much to the world's surprise, she bounced back, landed back on top, and just like that, she is no longer a target... for now. On to the next prey. Is the aim also to push this woman further over the edge until she ultimately ends society's torture?

Girl I don't even bother listening to the reports any more. If I see her face I turn the station. Seriously. If we all do that, she'd just go away. She's only doing this to get whatever money she can. Her 5 minutes of fame will come to an end. Believe me, if I ever have 5 minutes of fame it would be for something positive.

Any person with their head half screwed on right will understand the blatant violation here. Anyone who supports the level of public involvement in this woman's reproductive rights and socio-economic status needs to ask themselves how many people would not be here or have been born at all if their reproductive rights and socio-economic status were public record. The Angels in Waiting are being called upon to do the devil's work.

Which is exactly why I RARELY turn on the news (or the TV for that matter)... I prefer reading my news online...I just point and click at what I WANT to read about! I DO AGREE, though! She and her problems/non-problems need to go AWAY!!!! It's none my business!!

Yeah, I'm kinda out of the loop this week on her. I just see her going by quickly when I push the three arrows on TIVO. Hey, really they all love it, her, the media, the hospital, the devilsh angels (hahaha Tameka), the grandparents, everybody wants to get in the act and get some ogling.

We are the fools for watching this debacle!

I'm with MBB. She got me when I saw those kids pictures. And though I understand the anger of the people, for me I keep thinking what about the babies. I'm weak. She got me.
