Bay Area In the News

Just when I was about to swear off watching the news past the weather forecast forever, I heard and saw something that made me smile. Apparently, little Miss Obama was sporting the threads of an Oakland, Ca based children's clothing manufacturer called Biscotti, the night that her daddy made history. Oakland gets so much bad press and I am happy to hear that now Biscotti's dresses are flying off to retailers who are getting an overwhelming amount of orders for what they are now calling the "Malia dress". I think the actual article can tell the story much better than I can, so go here to see how the owner realized that her dress was on the back of the new first daughter.

I love when small businesses get recognized on a grand scale, it is truly inspiring. Thanks for sharing! Go Oakland.
