1. Celebrating Halloween with Miss J. and trying out a new hair color are some of the things I'm most looking forward to in October.

2. Sometimes I don't believe that I really have a place in this world.

3. I said I'd never fall into that "Berkeley social activism" trap, but find myself wanting to fight for other people's rights and that's why there is a saying, "never say never"!

4. When I'm down, I crawl inside myself and hide from the world.

5. Either in my bed or in a classroom is where you'll find me most often.

6. A rainy day is good for cuddling up with a big bowl of soup.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to finishing up my annotated bibliography, tomorrow my plans include visiting my bff and Sunday, I want to give this house some much needed attention!

regarding number 2, i feel the same way sometimes. or perhaps it's a matter of knowing exactly what to do with myself! i can be all over the place and don't relate to a lot in my present reality.

now, i haven't celebrated halloween in forever, but both you and tea & honey bread got me wanting to do so with your friday fill ins.

I need to focus on cleaning and get off of this computer. Once I catch up on these comments I will. I guess. At least I am multi-tasking by doing laundry!

Aaay, I'm not gonna focus on cleaning this house. I am gonna focus on telling my kids to clean the house. They really need to learn, I've done my time. I haven't done a good job teaching them as evidenced by them crying when I ask them to clean. Not a good sign...

Being a Berkley Social Activist is not a bad thing. Focus on the acts and reason for them and the label.
