Gas prices are dropping at the moment and still no financial relief. One can't have any kind of financial relief if one has no current finances. This is the state of so many right now as houses and jobs continue to be lost. Its amazing how it only takes one day for lives to be changed. Lets hope that we will soon look up and a new day will be upon us where lives will begin to change, or at least stabilize for a while. Bills will be paid, babies will be fed and life will return to normal (whatever the hell "normal" means). I never thought my current days would consist of robbing piggy banks and holding up lines counting out my laundry money on store counters. That's the reality though, the days of "ya gotta do what ya gotta do".

I secretly keep a level of optimism handy when thinking about how much life will change for Miss J. and I once I have my degree. No more rainy days, only sunshine from that point on.
